What information we collect
We collect personal information in two ways:
- Through the contact form on this website. When you submit the form, we collect your name, email address, company name, and whatever you write in the message field.
- Through direct email correspondence. If you email us, we hold the contents of that conversation.
We don't collect information about you automatically. This site does not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about our services. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interests: you've contacted a business and reasonably expect a response.
We won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you've explicitly asked us to. If we ever do, the legal basis would be consent, and you'd be able to withdraw that consent at any time by emailing team@lampbristol.com.
We will never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How we store and protect it
Your data is stored on servers located in the UK and EU. Access is limited to the directors of Lamp Bristol Limited. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for up to two years after our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a client, we retain data for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by law (for example, financial records must be kept for six years).
You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See "Your rights" below.
Who we share it with
We don't share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is processed only by Lamp Bristol Limited and the infrastructure providers we use to host this website and handle email.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any information that's inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your personal data
- Restrict how we process your data
- Port your data to another service
- Object to our processing of your data

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date below. We won't make material changes without making it clear on this page.
